Introduction
This Website is a personal photographic record of a Tour to Italy visiting Rome, Sorrento & Amalfi Coast with Great Rail Journeys in September 2017.
The Tour commence at London St Pancras and used Eurostar to reach Paris then by SNCF TGV to Chambery for an overnigt stay. on Day 2 we continued our journey to Rome via Milan for a 2 night stay. On Day 4 we travelled down to Naples for the coach transfer to our Hotel in Sorrento for a 7 night stay. Whilst in Sorrento we visited the Amalfi Coast, Pompei, Paestum & Isle of Capri as well as enjoying some free time to explore the local area (including a visit to Pietrasa Railway Museum near Naples).
On our return journey we stayed overnight at Turin before continuing to London via Paris.
